Crackerjack Selling Secrets: How To Market Your Business Using Web 2.0 Sites Like FaceBook, Twitter, StumbleUpon And Digg

    Hi Ben,

Great interview...I think a lot of people don't get social media marketing because they think it's all about plugging your own products. At it's core it's relationship marketing I guess.

A quick question. What software did you use to record the interview out of interest...the quality is very good.

    Thanks

Hey Graham, glad you enjoyed it, I got a lot of value from it, too.

I used a teleconference service at:

    www.TheBasementVentures.com

However, if you use them, make sure you have a back up with a digital recorder. The last couple interviews I just did didn't record -- doh!

My dorky little digital recorder saved my arse in those cases.

    Hi Ben

Thanks a lot for that. Not heard of that service before...I see they use digital fibre optic lines which explains the clean sound. I only ask because I've used skype with hotrecorder.com and also freeconference.com before and they're ok but the sound quality hasn't been great in either case.

Can I be a pita and ask which digital recorder you used when that teleconference service failed. It attaches to your landline phone handset does it?

Thanks again and keep up the great content...yours is one of the few blogs I regularly visit because it isn't a continual pitchfest.

    Best wishes,

    Hey Graham,

Thank you for that, I really appreciate it.

    I use an Olympus VN-480PC.

I route it in from some Radio Shack dealy-bop that plugs into the recorder's microphone slot -- and records phone calls regardless of what phone I'm using.

I am getting a new recorder soon though -- as I'm tired of having to go downstairs and plug it into the Win-doze computer to retrieve the audio file (I'm a Mac kinda guy).

So not sure what I'm getting next, but it'll have to be Mac compatible.
